Why We Made the Limited Edition Pink Lens
The Pink Lens began from a simple thought: We wanted to create something beautiful that could also help others.
Breast cancer has touched so many lives, our families, our friends, members of this community.
When October came around, we wanted to do something real, not just post about awareness.
So we created a soft rose pink version of our Repurposed Disposable Film Lens and committed a 10% of every sale to breast cancer research and support.
The Idea Behind the Pink Lens
This lens works the same way as our original Repurposed Disposable Camera Lens.
We source the lens elements from old Fujifilm disposable cameras in Japan, then clean and adapt them for modern cameras. The result is the same soft, nostalgic look straight out of the camera.
The Pink Edition is unique in two ways:
The stock was limited to only 500 units.
It was created with purpose, to support those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.
It offers the same iconic look, but with a deeper meaning behind it.
The Response (We Didn’t Expect This)
We honestly didn’t expect the reaction it received. The first launch sold out in just a few days.
Customers began sharing their stories, photos taken with mothers in treatment, gifts for survivors, trips to visit family, quiet portraits of themselves during healing.
It became more than a product. It became a symbol of support and love.
That’s something we’ll always be grateful for.
Where We Are Now
We are now on our second restock of the Limited Edition Pink Lens.
And because of the support from this community, we’ve been able to donate:
$1947 USD to breast cancer research and support programs.
That number isn’t just money. It’s therapy sessions. It’s travel support for treatment. It’s early detection programs. It’s real, practical help.
And we’re going to keep going.
Why It’s Still Available
We’ll keep making small batches as long as:
people continue to connect with the meaning behind it
and we can continue donating from each sale
This isn’t about pushing a product. It’s about continuing something good, together.
If You ’d Like One
If the story behind this lens resonates with you, you can get it below.
To make it even more meaningful, when you buy the Limited Edition Pink Lens, we’ll include the original Retropia Lens for free.
We want the experience, the story, and the purpose to be shared.
If not, we’re still grateful you’re here. This community means a lot to us.
